J.A.F.F.F.S Online Auction Store on eBay and eBay Giving Works

Have household items taking up space that you no longer need or use? Would you like to get rid of the items but haven't had the time? Would you like to help a non-profit organization raise money for scholarships? Then please donate your gently used items to JAFFFS!! We will sell the items on eBay and provide you a tax-exempt receipt for your donations! Or if you prefer, donate only a percentage of the sales by selling the item on eBay yourself and designate J.A.F.F.F.S as your favorite nonprofit through eBay Giving Works!

The way it works:

1. Go through your closet and pantries collecting unused or gently used household goods that we can sell on eBay.
2. Contact a J.A.F.F.F.S trustee by emailing jamisonalbrightfoundation@yahoo.com and we will arrange pickup or drop-off of items to our foundation address.
3. Check the status of your donated item by visiting our page on eBay Giving Works and tell your friends about us so they may also visit our store! 100% of all revenue generated selling your donated item is donated to J.A.F.F.F.S!
4. Look for your tax receipt in your email inbox within 2-4 weeks of the item selling! Your receipt will be for the dollar amount of the purchase, excluding shipping and handling payments.

OR if you prefer, list the item on eBay yourself using your own account and donate a portion of the final sale price to J.A.F.F.F.S with eBay Giving Works!

1. Each time you create a listing, look for J.A.F.F.F.S in the nonprofit directory on eBay Giving Works.
2. Designate 10-100% of the final sale to J.A.F.F.F.S!
3. EBay will show off a charity ribbon catching buyers' eyes. Your listing stands out above the rest and lets buyers know that your item is helping a worthy cause!
4. Spread the word about J.A.F.F.F.S! Every time you use eBay’s Giving works and designate our charity, a special "Giving Bar" appears —it shows buyers our nonprofit J.A.F.F.F.S logo and gives them information about our mission. You can actually help us recruit new donors with your listing!
5. Receive a fee credit when your item sells! EBay has promised all sellers who designate our charity and donate 10-100% of the final sale, that they will credit back your Insertion and Final Value Fee by the same percentage you donate. That means if you donate 50% of your item's final sale price, you'll get 50% of your fees back!!

Upcoming Annual Fundraisers:

Annual Calendar Sales (Sept-Oct)

Up to 4 different pre-designed calendar samples will be sold on the JAFFFS website fundraiser page from September - October. Photographs of pre-designed calendars will be posted on the website for viewing along with pricing, shipping, and handling information. Interested buyers will be able to order calendars from September – 2nd week in October. Payments will be due upon ordering and may be made via Pay pal by credit card or personal Pay pal account to JAFFFS Pay pal account. Bulk order for pre-ordered calendars will be sent for printing the 2nd week in October and mailed to buyer by the 1st week in November. Buyer will receive a tax-deductible receipt for the portion of the donation not going towards fair market price of the product, shipping, and/or handling.

Annual Christmas Card Sales (Oct-Nov)

Up to 4 different pre-designed Christmas card samples will be photographed and posted on the JAFFFS website from October - November for ordering. Orders can be placed in October through 1st week in November via the website and email. Payments will be due upon ordering via Pay pal by credit card or personal Pay pal account. Christmas cards will then be printed in bulk and mailed to buyers first week in December. Buyers will receive a tax-deductible receipt for the portion of the donation not going towards fair market price of the product, shipping, and/or handling.

Annual Scrub Hat Sales (Nov-Dec)

Up to 50 pre-made scrub hats will be sold on the JAFFFS website fundraising page from 2nd week in November - December. Photographs of pre-made scrub hats will be posted on the website for viewing along with pricing, shipping, and handling information. Interested buyers will be able to select which scrub hats to buy and send payments via Pay pal by credit card or personal Pay pal account to JAFFFS Pay pal account. Buyer will receive a tax-deductible receipt for the portion of the donation not going towards fair market price of the product, shipping, and/or handling.
